As the 107-year-old company continues to grow its footprint in Cowtown, Vista Bank has hired Fort Worth banking veteran Grant James to serve as president of its Fort Worth market.
With nearly 40 years of industry experience, James brings a wealth of knowledge in all facets of banking to the market. His role with Vista will include leading a very talented team of bankers, growing market share through active retail and commercial business development, establishing brand awareness through marketing and sponsorship initiatives, and furthering the Bank’s commitment to put “People First.”

James will office at Vista’s Fort Worth location, 1300 Summit Ave., where the Bank has a full-service retail and commercial banking center that opened in 2017.

James is a graduate of Texas Christian University where he received a B.B.A. in Marketing and completed the Ranch Management program. He is actively involved in the Fort Worth community currently serving on the board of Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth and as a member of the United Way Campaign Cabinet.
